Was going to order a scriber so lets see if I can hit 75 bucks to get free shipping.
How about some milliput, para film M, micro-mesh pads and an etch mate?
-Tom
It would be tougher for me to figure what NOT to buy.
But here are things that I have gotten in the past that I use enough to have made it worthwhile...
Etch-mate and micro mesh pads as mentioned above. Also... Sand-It, Chop-It. Some metal rules are handy. Then there are things to stock up on like 100 pack of #11 blades, glues.. that kind of stuff.

Micro Mark sells a punch & die set which is great for instrument panel decals.
Not a Waldron Micro punch - but well worth looking into
Good one Ed. Meant to list that too. Well worth the money.
I ordered one of those punches just before Christmas. Could not get a Waldron one anywhere (well, at least the places I was looking)- only the smaller one was available. Anyone have this Micro Mart one?
On the bench: Revell 1/72 HCMS Snowberry

I've had one for several years. Like I posted, good for punching instrument decals. All sorts of uses in scratchbuilding. Good for applications where you need a circular disc in sizes less than 1/4 inch, down to about 1/16. Keep it clean dey and free of rust. For larger applications I have a set by Harbor Freight Tools.
Waldron punches are now sold exclusively by Roll Models
The small set of detail paint brushes with the screw on caps are great.

Another vote for the punch set. It's one of those things that I don't use much but when I want it...
"Whaddya mean 'Who's flying the plane?!' Nobody's flying the plane!"
I'd suggest some good tweezers in various sizes. Something you'll find yourself using frequently. I think they also carry scalpels and scalpel handles. If they do, get a couple of scalpel handles and some #10 and #11 scalpel blades. Forget X-acto knives, scalpels are the way to go.

Just launched: Revell 1/249 U.S.S. Buckley w/ after market PE and guns.

X-Acto "Extra Hands"w/ magnifier, small bench vise...
Another vote for the punch set. Fantastic tool!
Too many models to build, not enough time in a lifetime!!
made a wish list on their site after work today....was only 650 bucks worth of stuff. I think I could reach the free shipping limit with no problem!
