Does anyone use the Hasegawa TriTool?
What do you think of it?
Are they worth buying?
Where can you buy them?

They look like this:

Thanks

Mike

I have used since before Tritool was aquired by Hasegawa, very nice tool range.

I am sure that you will be able to get them via Hobby Link Japan and/or Rainbow 10.

Many Companies over here release tools and normally they are very high quality.

Here is another site(Japanese where you can also find their tools).

Thanks MMF.

I would imagine that shipping is pretty high from asia to the U.S. though isn't it?

I depends on the volume of the shipment, If you can get something shipped using
"Small packet" (less than 2kg, there are also some size restrictions) it won't be that bad.
Naturally it will help if you can combine multiple items to form one order/
HLJ will give you a shipping estimate in EMS & SAL for each Item on their website.

EMS is faster than Airmail and costs about the same or is a bit cheaper(alos provides online tracking) SAL is like 2nd rate airmail and usually takes 2~3 weeks to get there(longest I have ever had a kit take was 2 month over X-mas, it was a BIG Resin Kit).

Either way it is advisable to compare prices with local suppliers and the cost of getting it shipped from the country of origin.
I have seen cheaper either way.

Also check if a comparable produce is available overseas, i.e. squadron, Micro-mark.

Hello happy tritool hunters
I got some from Hobbyworld in Japan ( http://hobbyworld.aoshima-bk.co.jp/eindex.asp ) and it was not at all expensive to France; I suppose p&p will be about the same to USA ; besides that, they seem to have a little rebate on prices ( 6 or 7 %) which makes them a little cheaper than Hobbylink which is a nice shop by the way. You could also have a look at Kotobukiya tools and at other non exported items.
Hope this will help.

Thank you all for coming José
