tamiya 74035 or 74001
Posted by 40kminis on Sunday, September 30, 2012 9:57 PM

Hello,

Has anyone used both the tamiya 74035 and 74001? If so, which one do you prefer for cutting parts off sprues?

Thanks!

Cant say I've used the Tamiya versions but I'd recommend the Xuron ones, look to be the same price

I have the xuron and the tamiya one

the difference is night and day

I was skeptical at first do to the price but it cuts sanding time in half easily

you want 74035

scalehobbyist.com is where I got mine cheapest place when I got them

If 74035 is the sharp side-cutter, buy it. It's better than any Xuron I've used (and I really like Xuron, so that's saying a lot)
