I use Windsor & Newton, Cotman brushes from my local artists supply store. I have yet to find a brush in a hobby shop that I like. It took me a lot of trial and error to find the brushes that gave me the best results. They aren't cheap, but if well cared for can last years. I might suggest getting a few different bristle types and see what works best with your paints and subjects.
It has been my experience that a good brush can be the difference between a superb paint job and mediocre one, so taking the time to find what works for you is probably well spent.
