Aaron Skinner's photoetch bending pliers
Posted by Chili on Friday, March 15, 2013 9:49 AM

In a recent FSM online video on bbending photoetch parts, , editor Aaron Skinner used a pair of smooth blade pliers. What is the product's name and manufacturer? Any help with a commerical source for the product?

Hi Chili,

Those are made by Tamiya. You can find them here. You may also be able to find similar pliers at your local hobby shop or art supply store in the jewelry section.

Look for smooth jaw pliers, I have a couple, thin and thick really and they are very useful for photo etch

I have a pair similar to that from Expo that i bought from my LHS. Even though i now have an Etch mate, i still find i do most of the bending with the pliers.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so
