Airbrush booth comparison
Posted by 40kminis on Monday, April 22, 2013 6:02 PM

Hello, I am a miniature gamer/hobbyist and looking for a airbrush paint booth. I don't really have the inclination or time to build one so I am looking for any feedback regarding the two below:

30" ARTOGRAPH 1530 PAINT SPRAY BOOTH, or

PAASCHE HSSB-30-16 30" Paint Spray Booth.

Has anyone had experience with these?

Note that there is a whole forum just for painting, airbrushing and paint booths.  There have been threads in the past on booth comparisons, so checking back threads on that forum may yield info for you.

I use one at work (the Paasche) and it's OK.  The biggest complaint I have is that there is no light in the fixture and due to OSHA, I can't install one.  Other than that, it works well.

I have the smaller size Paasche, 22". The only issue I have with it is that it is messy and awkward to change the filter. I have a small desk lamp perched on top for lighting. It sure beats the cardboard box and small electric fan I used to use.
