I find a 40 W does an adequate job in my homemade booth.  Temperature runs between 105 and 110 F.  Dries Testors enamel overnight, and will not warp plastic.

You don't need to build one. I use a large rubbermaid container and a small desk lamp w/ a 100w bulb.

Has anyone had experience with the commercially available "Mr. Hobby Dry Booth" for drying painted models? I know some people make their own which is great, but I don't have the tools to do so.
