Glue

For the past 35 or so years, I've been using a chemical called Methylene Chloride as my main liquid cement - At that time a bottle of IPS Weld-On #3 cost about $3.50 for a 3 oz bottle and you could buy a quart of Methylene Chloride for $5.00 a quart.  Bought it at plastic supply houses (a gallon would last 3 or 4 years).  Only problem is the fact it is getting hard to find.

I also like the Tamiya Extra Thin,Tenax is good also.and I also use a Crazy type super glue

Depends on situations.  I use Tamiya Extra Thin & Regular, MM, Zap CA, Locktite Gel and Gator.

Testors orange tube gel, black bottle liquid, and Tamiya Extra Thin. I only use the gel in critical areas where I need an extra strong weld and and application to both joined surfaces is called for. I use a flat toothpick as a spreader, and let the glue sit for 10-15 seconds to let it start softening up the plastic before joining the parts together. For most other applications I use the black bottle with the metal applicator. For small parts I use the Tamiya. The applicators for both the liquid cements I use - the metal tube with the Testors and the small brush with the Tamiya - are big selling points for me

I use Testor's, both liquid and tube.

I use pro weld in an empty Tamiya thin bottle. Its the small brush that makes Tamiya thin good other than that its probably the same as most liquid cements.

For general gluing I've tried em all and got em all (glues) and still find myself reaching for the Testors. Mainly the black bottle Model Masters with the metal tube. I also keep some of the original orange (red) Testors tube glue for those times when I gotta cover a large area.

Different glues for different tasks. I regularly use solvent cement, thin CA, gel (thick) CA, epoxy, and the white-glue-like "window" cement.  Each has a different use.

Sorry I sent it before I was through, but Tamiya Extra Thin is a hot cement that can be applied to seams and in very small amounts. I think a lot of us use it, but it all depends on what I need glueing. I must have  a dozen different glues including CA's that all have different uses, but if I had to choose one, it would be the Tamiya Extra Thin.  Rattlehead, thats my two cents.
