Revell and italeri aqua paints
Posted by Matt12 on Thursday, January 16, 2014 11:14 AM

Hello everyone

i have been using revell and italleri acrylic paints, and i have a few questions. (I am using sparmax DH-115 airbrush, sparmax ac-100 compressor tankless 16 lpm)

1- is the quality comparable to vallejo and tamiya paints? will i notice a slight improvement if i switch to vallejo or tamiya?

2- for italleri i use italleri thinner to thin the paint but revell "aqua color mix" reacts with revell paint, it simply doesnt work! why is it happening?

3- when i want to do preshading, my airbrusg clogs every few minutes and makes a lot of trouble, is it because of the paint? the airbrush? or the compressor?

thanks in advance.

I don't use acrylic paints myself, but this sounds like a good thread for the painting and airbrushing forum right below the tools forum.

you wouldn't notice any difference at all between the Italeri and Vallejo paints,,,,,,,,,they are the same formula,,,,,,so you can search for Vallejo paint tips online and use those for your Italeri paints
