Scribing Templates

Thanks Nathan. The Lion Roar templates were actually the ones I'm looking to get. Now that you've vouched for them I'll probably order them soon with a needle scriber. Thanks for the tips on normal lines, because I do have a scriber like that and it works great, I just figured it wouldn't be the best for the curves.

I have a Lion Roar set. Its very nice and thin, and can be bent around curves. You will need a needle to scribe out circles and other shapes, but for your main lines, I would recommend a Bare Metal Foil or UMM-USA scribing tool.

Thanks Fly-n-hi for the input. Coincidentally I'm actually working on an F-15 too (strike eagle), hope everything comes out great on yours.

I have the Verlinden 1/48 scribing templates.  The work very well, are very flexible and there are many shapes on the templates.

I recently scribed some panels onto some fuel tanks for a 1/48 F-15 I'm working on.  They turned out great!  Just secure the template on the surface with some tape and you're good to go.

These are the only templates I've used so I can't compare them to any others.
