I found a neat little item today at HL that will be useful in my modeling.
Its a Mortar and Pestle
Great for grinding chalks, dirt/sand, rust to make your own weather products.
I already have a large one (softball size) of these but its actually too big.
This one fits in the palm of your hand, just a wee bit smaller than a tennis ball.
Its located in the educational toys section, near the diorama products. Made my "My First Labs".
They also had a few other things but I already have plenty of these.
Plastic and glass eye droppers- measuring thinners, paint, etc
Glass microscope slides- windows
Nice finds! I was given a box of those glass microscope slides, but I don't know what to use them for, any suggestions?

I've used them for "surprise".... windows in buildings.
The glass cover slips are good too. Much closer to scale. However, they are 3-4x smaller than a glass slide.
Its probably just me but real glass just has a "look" to it that you don't get in clear plastic. I dunno, maybe it has something to do with differences in reflection, refraction, transparency.
I gotta start walking around the whole store; not just the model section. LOL!

That will definitely come with a hit to the ole wallet!!!
