Tacky glue that dries clear?
Posted by Chrisk-k on Thursday, June 5, 2014 2:42 PM

I sometimes use Gator glue. It is extremely strong, glues painted parts together and dries clear. But it's not tacky at all until it starts to cure, which can take 10-15 minutes.  It's a problem when trying to glue a part to a non-flat surface.

Is there a tacky glue that has the above nice properties?

Aleene's clear glue may work for you. It's in the craft glue section of walmart, michael's, and Hobby Lobby.

I swear by Mod Podge. You can get it at Hobby Lobby also. It's like Elmer's except maybe a little thicker, and goes tacky I'd say within seconds depending on how much you use. Dries fast, dries clear. I love it.
