The detachable tip in the Iwata is different from others I have seen. I find a toothpick fits in it just right to clean it fairly well.

Well currently my projects are in the construction phase. Thanks for the encouragement,I look forward to trying it out.I currently use a Badger 150, so this will be my 1st gravity fed.I understand that that the paint needs more thinning because of the smaller tip.Should be interesting.

I have the HP-AH and HP-CH, Iwata's are outstanding airbrushes. Great choice!

The HP-CS is probably the best all-round airbrush. I use mine for spraying primers, base-coats and varnishes. It always flawlessly works.

I'm interested in it because I hope it will be easy to clean as I will be switching to Vallejo paints.
BTW.................one thread gave " Windex " for cleaning Vallejo.
Any confirmation on that?

Great choice! I have 5 airbrushes and the Iwata kicks the pants off all the others.

I was just looking at ( drooling over ) one at the iHobby show this last weekend.

Don Wheeler certainly gives it a good rating............
