New Tip for Bondo users.

Been using Bondo from the large tubes for years with no problem. Tried something new a few months ago that might help out with small seam filling problems.

Had a couple of new paint jars the size of MM paint jars sitting in the drawer and had an idea. I squeezed a good size blob into a jar and slowly added lacquer thinner with a pipette stirring as I go. Kept adding until it got to the concistency of paint. Added it to the seam between the fuselage and tail surfaces of the Ju-52 I was working on with a pin. It dried in about a minute or two and the excess was sanded off with a swipe or two of wet/dry fine sandpaper not removing any details. For stubborn seams, just repeat. The jar has been sitting on the self (closed of course) for a couple of months now. When I used it yesterday for a minor repair job on another build, it was a little thicker so I added a few drops of lacquer thinner and it was fine again. This time I painted it on with an old fine tip brush. Worked great.

Hope this helps some of you having putty problems, it sure helped me.

Very nice tip fox, I may have to try that next time. Although I very rarely use putty to fill in seams. This might be something I may try.
