Thank you for the suggestions. I hope to repair some lost panel lines on my Revell Phantom. Next time I'll be sure to enhance the lines prior to sanding. Thanks again.
Prior to sanding in the area, or if you see a line disappearing while you are sanding, deepen the line with your scriber of choice before it is gone. That's the easiest way and requires no template.

Occasional factual, grammatical, or spelling variations are inherent to this thesis and should not be considered as defects, as they enhance the individuality and character of this document.
Any Photo etch template such as Lion Roar, Verlinded, Eduard etc...as long as its pe, it will bend and flex for going over curves. Don't forget using thin strips of Dymo (label tape) works great too.
