AK Interactive Worn Effects
AK Interactive Worn Effects Acrylic is basically a commercial version of hair spray. It's used to form the chipping/rust effect how ever you see fit (but with more control than hair spray. So anyway, after trial and error after trial and error, I realized that this stuff is good but ONLY if used with acrylic type paints. Preferably Tamyia acrylic paint. What I noticed when using this product with specifically enamel paints as well as seemingly any paint that wasn't Tamyia acrylic, was that once you started the chipping process, the top coat turns into this awful gummy substance that didn't really look right. So I'm kinda at a crossroads with my model. Either repaint it with an acrylic or leave it, and just weather it in other fashions aside from chipped paint. I dunno, maybe I'll save the Worn Effect for my next model. Well the moral of the story is: building models with Blue Moon beer in the background usually leads to avoidable mistakes lol.... Ah well.
