Silly Putty is a bit hard to find in the UK, and it tends towards thixtropic behaviour, in that it can 'run' & be very hard to remove from grilles, PE, etc,. so don't leave it on too long.
I tend to use white poster/tak as it's easier to get & is more forgiving of being left on too long!
