Mr. Hobby Mr. Cement S

Hello all. I was curious if anyone had used both this cement AND Tamiya extra thin cement, and could say one works compared to the other. From what I gather, they are more or less the same, but I was hoping to hear a firsthand account before I gave it a try.. The Tamiya extra thin is getting harder to come by in these parts for some reason.

I have a bottle of the older Mr. Cement Deluxe which is probably the same stuff. Very slightly thicker than Tamiya Extra Thin and a little stronger smelling as well. I prefer Tamiya Extra Thin, but the Gunze works great too. Sprue Brothers has it in stock,

It seems that the Mr. Cement S dries faster than the Tamiya thin cement. I would like to see what other people say about this topic as I am not as experienced.

I like Mr Cement a little better. It grabs better and dries faster. The less you use, the bettet the joint.

But Tamiya Extra Thin is pretty as good as well. I use both.

Nothing unusual about having trouble finding a Tamiya product. I've run into shortages with paint I needed a while back and a few months later their large bottle of x20a thinner couldn't be ordered from anywhere for several months. Luckily I stumbled onto 4 bottles of the thinner in a Hobby shop during the shortage and snatched them all up.
