Mini Drill Press

I just received my MicroLux drill press from Micro-Mark. I ordered the Heavy Duty model with variable speed and digital dept finder. It required minor assembly but the tools to do this were included (A phillips screw driver and three allen wrenches). They were nice enough to include an extra drive belt and fuse. This machine is very sturdy and stable weighing 27lb. The chuck is very precise and the quill moves up and down smoothly. It does not vibrate at all, no matter what speed I run it at and it is whisper quiet. I have tried the digital depth finder and it is very easy to use with the controls at the frount of the head stock. The readout can be set for MM or inches. The main reason I picked this drill is because of the variable speed which I think is nearly a must if you intend to use power tools for styrene. On that note the the vaiable speed functions very well and I have been able to drill holes on 1/8" strene sheet with absolutely no melting. It seems to be a great tool and I just wanted to give a heads up to other considering a similair purchase.
