Mr. Color Leveling Thinner would be best, but any lacquer thinner will work. Not really made for brushing.

Yeah you can't brush that stuff on. Airbrush only. Thin it with Mr. Color leveling thinner only, and beware, it is a hot lacquer so it might crack and affect any acrylic underneath.

Tucohoward and Nathan, thank you for the input. This explains why the product is as it is, which is thick and opaque and meant to be diluted and sprayed. I chose not to acquire an airbrush, so maybe with the leveling thinner, I can still apply it onto small parts I need matte or flat, with a brush. Again, this explains everything, and is helpful towards a  direction I can go with this product. Thank you.
