There's already a thread about this very subject. I don't think we need another.

Maybe a picture of a squirrel playing a harmonica will make you feel better?

Newsgroup readers used to have a way to lock a given username from appearing in the list of messages. I don't suppose there is any way to do that with these forums.

I am not talking about locking someone from posting.  This was for reading. If you didn't want to be bothered with seeing messages from a particular user, you could block your own visibility to a given user, like we can do with email.  It would be handy now.

I think somebody is playing games- it looks like about a dozen were recently posted, one after another.

As I said, there are sometimes good reasons for activating a zombie thread.  But when every post for the day consists of zombie threads, that is too much for me.  Isn't there anything new going on?

Yes Don however, some of them work out like the Auto thread "Tamiya Honda" thread an hour ago. Thread was a couple years old and the person knew it but the person who posted the thread replyed. I've also seen where just out of interest for the subject someone brings it up again. I guess if everyone understands that it was old then it would be Ok?

Zombie threads

There have been some discussion of zombie threads in the general discussions forums.

It seems like this forum has seen a lot of that lately.  Now, I am not one who feels zombie threads should never be resurrected.  However, I think we who use this forum should be careful to note the date of the last post, and realize when posting would be resurrecting a zombie. Is there a good reason to resurrect the thread?  If so, go ahead and post.  But realizing how old a thread is may affect our decision to post.
