Listen . When I mentioned those I did mean metal tweezers . The plastic may be alright . But , there are times the P.E. is thicker than normal and the treads turn with a " POP " as they are moved by the tweezers .
This comes from the treads as the edges slide in the smooth jaws of the tweezers . It really may not be that important . I have found a definite difference between Trumpeter , Eduard , Tom's and Gold Medal Models ,p.e. .
A lot of Eduard's P.E. is stainless so it is stiffer . Let me know how you did . T.B.
