Anyone own a Proxxon lathe?

I had a Proxxon PD230/E Quality was good but it was metric which I found annoying. I sold it and bought a Sherline and never looked back since. I now own 1 Sherline lathe and 3 Sherline mills ans I find the quality of Sherline products flawless and their wide range of accessories to be a great incentive. I am currently scratchbuilding a 1/18th scale Baja race buggy so I invite you to check out my facebook page under "Cancino Modelismo" where you will see tons of pics of my tools in use.

 

I agree about the quality of the Sherline.  I bought a bigger Chinese lathe because I wanted to tackle a bigger project than feasible on my Sherline, but I kept the Sherline (with the milling attachment) as a mill and for small work where the quality of the Sherline will be needed.

I had the miter saw first....and for multiple 30,40 and 45 degree cuts a miter is much quicker and easier.

I don't own a proxxon lathe, but I do own a Proxxon miter saw and table saw. They both are of high quality, and work very well. I spent roughly 2 months researching both items and found that Proxxon produces a very quality product. Plus their warranty and customer service are top notch. 

If I needed a lathe of smaller size I would purchase it from Proxxon. TMHO

The three different small lathe's all have high marks throughout all areas of operation.
