Which hobby knife blades?

I'm a scalpel guy too. However, I'm running short on blades and I need to find a place to buy scalpel blades in bulk (100 at a time?) Anyone know a good place to get them? Preferrably in Canada?

I mainly use scalpel blades but for a #11 I've always used Xacto. I'll have to give the Testors brand a whirl. Wink [;)]

As far as blade holders I love my old Uber knife I would like to find a couple more just like it.

Just my opinion ... but I prefer the #11 blade ... and I too agree that the TESTORS #11 blades seem to be a little bit better than the XACTO or other brands of #11 blades.

... a box of 100 #11 XACTO blades ... so I have been using them for a few months ... they work just fine ... Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg]

And ... sort of off the main topic ... but I think related ... I prefer to use as a #11 "blade" holder my old TESTORS MODEL MASTER knife ... you know ... the "ugly" one made from black resin or something ... it has the knurled thumb wheel in the middle, has a storage bin on the other end, under a cap, to hold two or three spare blades ... I just like the way it "lays" in my hand ... and it won't roll off the workbench ... a real plus as far as I am concerned. Sorry to say ... they don't make this knife anymore ... I hope my "stash" of five or six un-opened knives last me ... Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg]
