How long does Tamiyas X-20A thinner for acrylics last before it has to be thrown out. If anyone has an answer let me know.

It doesn't really 'turn' or go bad, unless it's been contaminated with some other substance. All its chemical components have about the same volatility--it might evaporate away after a (really long) time, but that's about it.

Why the question, if I may ask? Have you had a problem?

No problems, just that glue does somthing similar. It goes bad.

If you're talking about their Thin Cement, it is highly susceptible to contamination from anything that gets on that little brush. I'm not sure why--must be a delicate chemical balance--but I've experienced it, and several other members here have mentioned it.

I always do an extra 'swipe' on a paper towel after the brush has touched anything. It seems to help.

Thank you for the advice, it's a big relief for me.
