A new work space - WIP

I know it's a great feeling to finally be able to have a dedicated area. Hope you will be comfortable and have many hours of happy modelling. Like your display cabinet and use of space.

I have updated my workbench a little - under the bench itself there is, a little unfortunately, the heater/radiator installed. I had to solve the problem of how to allow the hot air through, but stop little parts from falling down and getting lost forever. I have solved this by installing a piece of plastic tubing with grilles and sealing the edges of the shelf:

I have painted the tube because the white plastic it was made of looked ugly. But then I had one more idea - I hung a picture over it, one that I got from my lady for Chrismas:

Now it all looks prettier, don't you think?

Looks great.  It's nice to have a dedicated space indoors.  For years I was in the garage - makes for winter/summer building challenging.  That radiator being right there will make cold winter night modeling cozy.

Like Keavdog, my modeling space is out in the shop, somewhat heated and cooled but not nearly as comfortable as yours appears to be. Looking forward to seeing some more of your excellent builds coming off that bench!

Very nice. I currently build in the Kitchen/dining area and airbrush in my basement. Soon I too will be moving it all into one room and I cannot wait. It's gonna be great not to have to run up and down the stairs for seperate parts of the build. It seems I always forget something and end up running up and down the stairs more than I want to.

Pawel as others have said. Having your own space is great. Especially when it's not in the garage or basement. When I moved last year that was one of my requirements was to have a bench in the house I'll be watching your progress John
