If you had the right magnification device you could pick up an atom with these things. So well made compared to other junk I chanced buying. In hindsight I should have looked closer at the set. It includes about five straight ones that go by different numbers and all I can see is a difference in the handle and a bit in length. I think you can buy them indifidually. The actual working end looks the same on all. Can't wait to try the angle ones next decal job.
I may try filing one flat maybe 1/16 across and give it on shot bending tabs on the Metal Earth kit I have set aside.

Have had the great fortune to be on every side of the howitzers.
Those are nice looking tweezers. Good quality tweezers make modeling enjoyable.
Your comments and questions are always welcome.
Each pair the needle like tips line up exactly and close totally unlike some other junk I bought also sight unseen
Congrats, I agree good tweezers make a world of difference. I was very surprised when I got my first pair too.
That said, even with good tweezers, I still find the best bet is to find an alternate method and not use them if possible.
I am a big fan of them. Great quality and design. Reasonably price and you get so many you almost have two of each shape/type. I haven't worn one out yet or demaged one, but I have a spare of the ones I use the most.
I cannot say I have never launched a tiny part with one, but certainly not as many as with any other tweezer I have.

Tojo72Amazon seems to have quite a few, even sets that dont cost a lot, which ones are we talking about
I got the set that is 9.99. I guess I forgot what a decent price they were so cancel that idea of just buy one or two. I guess you have to get the set
Thanks for the tip. Just ordered a set,
Thanks,
John
Thanks ! I read this thread yesterday, looked at them on Amazon's site last night, and ordered a set. It should be here Wednesday. I'm really looking forward to using them.

Hey Glenn!
How about a picture of the Tweezers? I have seen enough Hueys from that view in my life. T.B. P.S. Gotta say the pics are great though ! P.S. On the Metal earth stuff I have, I used a set of jewelers pliars. Each one has a precision milled tip in wide, medium wide and needle points in four different kinds!. I still have to get the Extra Wide ones though!
Mine I got from a Jewelry and stained Glass catalogue. They came from France. The set of six were $54.00( Yeah, they like their product) Bu, like the old Curtis Mathis T.V.ads, Darn well worth it! That's the P.C. Ad!
Thanks for the tip on those pliers. I may look into them if I decide to do any more of those kits.
My set arrived on Monday. I've used several of them quite a bit this week. I really like them so far. They are very well made, grip well, and the tips resist twisting and deforming when pressure is applied. So far, I've not launched anything into some other universe with them (I know , this will happen at some point).
I was thinking about launches the other day and had an idea I might try with one of those tweezers. They give you several that are nearly identical at the business end. I was wondering if one could possibly bend the tips of a set at a 90 degree angle if they might act like needle sharp pincers that would dig slightly into the part. Each side would look like an el with the short length maybe 1/32" or so. L
