A new tool for decals
Posted by Woody on Saturday, April 10, 2004 1:24 AM
I was at Wally World the other day and picked up a tool that is great for positioning decals, even very small and delicate decals. It is in the dental section and is made by a company called Butler. The tool is a "Gum Stimulator" and has been very useful for moving decals for positioning and snugging them down in panel lines and other tight areas. It has a well made anodized aluminum handle and a finely tapered rubber tip. They have a website at www.jbutler.com but I have yet to see if the tool is shown there.

That's funny as I just received one today from the dental hygenist when she cleaned my teeth. Although I am going to use mine in my mouth, not on decals. Wink [;)]

I use a Q-tip or paintbrush to position my decals.
