Yes;
This is about the Sticky Liquid ! I have used many brands over the years that come with the brush included inside. My biggest gripe? Testors liquid Model Cement worked well. If you used a brush OTHER than the one in the bottle!( This was Before Glue tools of any kind)
The one in the bottle was always fixed in a curve from making strong contact with the bottom of the bottle. Sometimes I could get it to straighten by Cutting off some of the little handle that held it to the top. Most times NOT !
Now, Tamiya, on the other hand seems to be a milder glue with a different problem. The brush doesn't seem to extend into the bottle enough! It would be nice if they would all get it right. The brush is in the center. The inside of the bottle is slightly raised in the center. Let the brush come veery close to the glass without touching. It seems that would work.
You can pull the brush stem out to get there. Just don't pull it to far! I prefer to use a brush I bought for this years ago when I was gluing more Lexan and Polycarbonate sheet parts. It has a half inch long set of bristles and comes to an extreme point!
Late Tip. Does your glue show signs of contamination? If so do this. Take a piece of LINEN or old sheet material. Take a Clean Empty Glass container and pour the glue in there.. Clean and dry the Glue bottle and Brush( If it has one) Okay, take the linen and make a Cloth Cone in the glue bottle. This fabric will catch the contaminants and render your glue clean.
This is also a sign.Your glue may seem to NOT be sticking as well. It's time to Freshen it. Buy another bottle and use it as a re-fill bottle. Do not let any of the old glue transfer back to the new bottle. Top it off to the bottom edge of the rounded threaded part of the bottle. Proceed with your project.
