One inch = 25.4 mm, so a 1 mm diameter tube would represent a 1 inch diameter tube on a 1/24 or 1/25 scale model, a 2-inch diameter (approximately) tube on a 1/48 scale model, and a 3-inch diameter (approximately) tube on a 1/72 scale model.

I once built and flew rc gliders some were pretty small. The pont is i have a 1 mm tubing that i ran my cable through. I figured i would meention this because the tubing being so small it. Could be used as tubing in scale cars or others. The outside diameter is 1 mm and its hollow.
