Lost and Cannot Find
Posted by ModelMadness on Saturday, March 2, 2024 8:18 AM

I am looking to replace my tool which is lost.  Not sure how or where, but I cannot find it.  I used it to apply glue at times when it was in small areas.

It had a wooden handle and at both ends a metal piece coming out.  Both tips had a ball shape to them

I thought it was made by U-Star, but cannot find it.  I only find other wooden handle hobby tools like cutters, detail files, etc.

Does anyone remember this tool or even better where I can buy one?  Oh yeah, what's it called?

There may be an equivalent out there for it, but could you provide more information about what type of glue you were applying with the lost tool?

Dear Model Madness,

Could this be what you're looking for?  Hard to find.  I entered the following in the Amazon search window

Hmmm.

I use a tool like that when I am applying "Foil-Chrome"

I got mine from the sculpturing section in crafts, at I think Hobby-Lobby. I've seen them at Micheals and Joanns too!

My CA applicator is a sewing needle glued into a piece of dowel.  Then I cut the end of the eye to leavs a little fork.  A dremel grinding disk easily cut the eye.

I used it for CA glue in really tight and small areas.  Just a dab and then with tweezer, viola!

YES!!!!  That's it.  Sell in a set so I guess at one time they ordered separately and that's how I had the one.  For the price, worth getting a set of 5

Thank you Strongeagle!!!!  On order

Thank you for the response TB.  I use to use it to push down tape in grooves, but mainly use for dabbing CA in tight areas.
