Soldering mini machine - Opinions needed

Can anyone recomend this soldering machine?

My primary goal is to weld sheet brass, but working with Fe-C alloys is on my sight too for other purposes.

I would like to buy this one, but I would like to hear opinions from you first and to know other alternatives you may know, you may like, you may have in your modeling room.

Thank you!

I have a friend that scratch builds HO scale brass equipment and engines and has a resistance soldering tool pretty much like the one you're looking at. I've used it a time or two when helping him on his model rail road. I would like to have one but can't justify it to myself or my wife - just don't do enough soldering. The only problem I see is you are probably going to have to shell out another 147 bucks to get the heavy duty soldering plyers to solder brass sheet together.

That is a fine comment on an issue I hadn't thought about, qmiester. Thank you!
