I've used white out on small gaps and it is very sandable.

I use Tippex (yes it's just a brand name for a correction fluid) all the time. It's not a complete replacement for ordinary filler but it it very useful.

Places were it's really useful is small gaps were you don't want to sand, just apply let it dry (very quick) then with a Q-tip (brands! there we go again) dipped in alcohol remove the excess then it's ready to paint, you might have to do a second application to completely hide the gap but it all takes only a few minutes.

You can sand Tippex, but because it's softer than normal filler it cloggs wet 'n' dry paper very quickly so you need plenty of water to stop it chipping.

For anything larger I use Milliput because it doesn't shrink.

chris, its correction fluid all right. ive never used it on a model before, but i dont think it sands that well. im not speaking from experience, but using it on worksheets, its got this tendancy to flake. dont let this stop you from trying it out on a model that wont break your heart.

I have been trying to find this product but all I can find is the porc-a-fix. I decided to email the company to see if they could find someone in my area that sells it. This is the link: http://www.porc-a-fix.com/porcafiller.asp

Another item that I'm curious in is something called Tippex (spelling?). I have read about it in Scale Aviation Modeling International. Is it the same thing as Whiteout correction fluid? I would like to try to fill small seams but not destroy the surrounding detail.

Is this stuff expensive? Anyone have anything negative to say about it?

Could someone help me by getting this stuff for me and mailing it to Finland. I would send you dollarbills for the stuff + shipping (which wouldn't be too much I guess) and you can ship it when you get the money?????

I've used it quite a bit, ever since Jeff posted the info. It works very well for me. Great stuff.
