Magnifying reading glasses at Harbor Freight
Posted by MikeV on Monday, September 20, 2004 7:26 AM
I bought some of these 1.5x reading glasses from Harbor Freight on Saturday to try out instead of the goggle-type magnifiers that I usually use, and I must say I am impressed with the quality of the optics of these glasses.
You would think that for $2.99 they would be horrible optically, but they are as good as any non-prescription reading glasses I have tried.
Check them out if you are looking for a pair.

They also have them in 2.0x and 2.5x on the website, but they only had this particular style in 1.5x at the store here. They also had some folding ones that I bought for $4.99 that look about the same except they are 2.5x.
I bought those for when you need to see those little tiny parts better. Wink [;)]

Wisdom is the right use of knowledge. To know is not to be wise. Many men know a great deal, and are all the greater fools for it. There is no fool so great a fool as a knowing fool. But to know how to use knowledge is to have wisdom. " Charles Spurgeon

As time goes by, those little tiny hard to see parts keep getting bigger & bigger & bigger. Sigh Sad [:(].
