rechargeable battery powered sander (tooth brush)

I had an old rechargeable tooth brush (I think it's a Braun Oral B) that I turned into a power sander. It's great for jobs like getting smooth surfaces for painting metal finishes. It came with 4 colored heads which I use to identify different sanding grits. All I did was cut the brissels off each head. applied double sided carpet tape (available at Home Depot type stores) and cut small disk of sand paper the size of the brush head and applied them to each head. I always keep it charged and ready to go. I start with the lowest grit and simply change to the next higher grit head. It's perfect for wet sanding too since it's designed to get wet! You could probably do the same thing with the newer battery powered brushes available in the drug store isle of any super market/Walmart. happy modeling! Sincerely, Kurt Warren
