I found a site that has the Waldron punch & die sets available for what looks like very reasonable prices. It is called John's Discount Hobby and the sets are listed in the tools section.

You could try Historex Agents in the UK. Just do a search online.

you know I am having that problem myself, I tried ordering the sets from an online hobby shop that carries them, but they are not answering my e-mail questions.
The address for the company is
Waldron Model Products
P.O. Box 431
Merlin, Or 97525

The phone number I have is 541-474-3226

I am going to call them today and see what they tell me as to who if anyone carries thier stuff.

onyan, thats what I wanted it for, more than anything else, its amazing how many times mold ejection marks are in places that can be seen but not gotten too without destroying something else.

Same as with DJ, Tbolt, and wibhi2, but I also use the set to create mini-disks with styrene sheet to cover up pinholes and mold ejection marks in plastic. I could use putty but styrene-on-styrene makes for a much stronger bond (no chipping, too).

Cheers,
onyan

The Waldron Precision set is one of the best tools I've bought. Trim wheels, intrument panels, lightning holes, landing light lens, gunsights. Even though I paid the high UK price for the set it's still worth the money.

I have the Historex punch & die set and other than the mini-drill, it's the best tool I've EVER purchased for the hobby... I do a lot of small scale scratchbuilding and this calls for a lot of work with circular parts such as wheels, hubs, rivet heads, 'o' rings, engine cylinders, axles, instrument faces,... There was a time when I could not afford a punch & die set and I would spend so much time doing those parts the hard way, and not often as well!

Get one! Now. You will not regret it!
