If you are only getting one small drop at a time, something is wrong with it. You should get a constant even flow out of the tip. Fill it from the tip, not the end. Just set it in a full bottle and the tenax will wick into the applicator. Just touch it to the material you want to glue and pull it in the direction you want. If you push or leave it too long in one place you will get melted plastic in the tip. Once you have applied the glue, place it back into the tenax. After you are done with it, touch the tip to the inside of the bottle to remove any remaining glue. Tap the tip on a piece of plastic sheet, or any hard object several times and place it back in the tube it came in. I have several that are over five or six years old that still work like they did when I bought them.
