ARMOUR EXTRA DETAILS - Punch & Die Set
Posted by gburdon on Thursday, January 6, 2005 4:03 AM
I received the ROUND set for Christmas. I wondered how this company compares to WALDRON's or HISTOREX's sets? Any assistance is greatly appreciated as always.

Cheers;

Gregory

Hi, if you are so kind could you give us the home page to se the product, I went to this site: http://www.steelmodels.com/prodotti/Armour.htm , and from the picture I saw, I think is almost the same as Historex´s, I have both of them (round and exagonal) and I think it works on the same principle. Can you give us the price so we can compare?

Yeah, I'd like to know more as well. I'm looking to get a good punch/die set myself.
A day in the Corps is like a day on the farm; every meal is a banquet, every paycheck a fortune, every formation a parade... The Marine Corps is a department of the Navy? Yeah...The Men's Department.

Sorry for the delay in response. www.steelmodels is the website to view these two sets at. "Santa Claus" (my darling wife) picked my set up at Northstar Hobbies in Mississauga Ontario. They advertise in the Hobby Shop section of FSM and good news! They do mail order globally! Price was $114.00 Canadian. So convert that to U.S. and you're getting a great set of tools cheap. NORTHSTAR has both sets of round and hex. Hope this helps.

Cheers;

Gregory
