I agree. You'll need knives, sandpaper, glue, paint and some good brushes to start. unless of course you are airbrushing...

I am also not aware of any starter kits for model building.
Hit your LHS, DIY and Arts supply stores and get what you need.

Sorry,
there's none that I'm aware of either but there again I'm from over the water.
Saying that though i'm sure that I have seen an advert in older copies of this fine magazine of starter sets.I cannot for the life of me remember the name of the company but it used too be a two page spread.
Regards,
Simon.

None that I am aware of as far as "package" type starter kits. Just have to make a shopping list and hit the LHS.

I already got my decals, my kits are almost ready to ship and now I need the tools.
I'm just looking for something basic, like a tool kit for newbies. That has the necessary stuff to start with like glue, glue solvent (just in case I make an ooopsie with the glue), cuttting tools, sanding, etc... Is there a kit especially made for newbies like me out there that I can purchase?
For now i just need these tools.. later i'll worry about the paint. Thanks!
