It probably will cut thin aluminum - but the razor blade won't last long. Its greatest usefulness is in chopping styrene and wood. In addition to strips, it can cut such things as styrene rod and tubing, and wood dowels. I've had a Chopper I for about thirty years; it's one of my favorite tools.

I just got the Chopper II as a gift. Besides cutting the usual Evergreen strips, what can you use it for? Does it cut through light metal like aluminum?
