Hello friends.
Share your inventory (your most necessary) tools such as X-acto knives, different kinds of sand paper (various grits), cement, filler blah blah.

Hmm

- Xacto with plenty of spare #11's, self healing mat
- Set of 00, 0 and 1 sized brushes
- Tenax-7R and touch-n-flow applicator
- Squadron Green putty and Testors #3502 Plastic Cement for thinning (pre mixed in an old empty Testors 1/4oz thinner bottle
- Zap-a-gap style CA Glue
- Squadron putty spatula tool
- Pencil Sharpener (for artist's pencils used in detailing work)
- Plasti-Tak (like Blu-Tack, I can't find the blue stuff 'fer nuthin' around here)
- Lady's emery board with 4 different grits on it, including polisher and buffer
- Squadron Tri-Grit sanding stick
- Zona Razor Saw
- Pin Vise, drills and files
- Side-cutters
- Plastic straws, cut down and used as pipettes for paint transfer/mixing
- Toothpicks, q-tips, Brillo Scrub-n-Toss pads (great for cleaning paint off your hands!)
- Paasche VL Airbrush and 'el cheapo-especial compressor

This isn't everything, but just some of the things I use most often.

sure i'll talk, but keep in mind i'm fairly new at this.. only been building since 2001..

small stash of about 40 kits...
aprox 200 bottles of Model Master Enamal paint. (got just about every color i need when i need it)
about 20 bottles Tamiya acrylic paint.
10 bottles of polyscale water based.
and a few humbrol super enamals..
testors hobby knifes (the plastic ones.. not the new metal ones.. i stocked up)
Self healing cutting mat.
Badger Cresendo 175
Badger 360 universal
Scropion II compressor (build in tank) with regulator and water trap.
Sanding sticks. Sandpaper.. sanding pads..
Files, Dental Picks. Surgigal Pliers set, forcepts, Multi speed Cordless Dremal
Roll Around Shop toolbox.. to hold my stuff.
mini pipe cleaners, Assorted tweezers, Despruing Tweezers, Zuron Cutter,
Assorted copper wire spools, Assorted lead and alumuim foils, assorted brass stock,
mini anvil, Empty paint bottles, assorted thinners, artist oils and artist watercolors, pastel chalks, weathering powders, paperclips, popsickle sticks, different kinds of tape. Model master cement, Plastruct liquid weld, testors clear parts cement, white glue, assorted super glues, zap a gap Ca glue, wall mounted drawer cabinets for parts storage, assorted reference books, notebooks with my notes in them, paintbrushs, pin vise with assorted bits,
Ott-Light, Solveset, toothpicks,...


I better stop now or the list will get out of hand.....

Lotsa sandpaper
Glues - super glue, epoxy, Plastruct, Humbrol
Needle files and rifflers
A "useful" box with electrical wires, small tubes, all the stuff you need when scratchbuilding
A drawer full of sheet plastic of different thicknesses
Hammers, files, pliers, a respirator mask, magnifiers, pin vices, a small bench vice, drills from 0.1mm up to 13mm..............
It's taken many, many years to develop my workbench......I'd be lost without it.

I got so much different stuff to use that it is a bit much to list here, but pretty much all sits in the same catagories as everyone else.

But all these tools does not make me a better modeller, just gives me more stuff to loose skin on.
3d modelling is an option a true mental excercise in frusrtation
