$43.50 +S&H. I too waited months for Greatmodels to figure out what was going on.....I think too many people go to the source and Waldron can't keep up with the demand, and the shops can't either....lol It's a big chaotic circle that is easier to not get caught up in.

Hey, uproar, I feel your pain, I've had an order on hold with Greatmodels waiting for my 4" etchmate to get in, I finally just hit the "ship it now" button so I can get the rest of my goodies from them. I have been eyeing the Waldron punch set as well, guess I may just go straight to the source for that one, as well as my etchmate at Small Shop.
A day in the Corps is like a day on the farm; every meal is a banquet, every paycheck a fortune, every formation a parade... The Marine Corps is a department of the Navy? Yeah...The Men's Department.

Thank you! Johns Discount Hobbies actually did get back to me--think I'll give them one more chance before I give up and go to the source. I appreciate the info. Waldron sets seem just painfully difficult to come by. By the way--how much did you pay for yours, if I may be so bold? :)

Order directly from the source like I did....Mr. Waldron himself. Call him directly at (541) 474-3226 or email at wmpmodel@earthlink.net .....business hours are from M-F 8-5PM PST.

I think they send you the catalog first (a photocopied piece of paper) and you send in your order using that. But after months of dealing with the run-around from online shops, someone on the forums gave me this contact info, and within a couple of weeks had my very own Waldron Punch Set......Enjoy!!!

Regarding Waldron Punch sets

Does anyone know of a good, RELIABLE online company that carries the Waldron punch sets, both the precision and the subminiature sets, that actually has them IN STOCK (without the "special order" excuse to take forever to ship that Great Models uses)? Oh, and preferably a company that doesn't suck, that actually has decent customer service and will return emails (unlike "Johns Discount Hobbies")?? Do I sound bitter? I'm just really tired of lousy service and would like a company I can trust. Thank you!Question [?]
