it will just slowly evaporate. it won't hurt anything.

Thank you all for the help.

I realized (after reading your post Don) that I was just emptying the tube, and not the needle. Now I let it drain completely before refilling and Go - Go - Go.

Now another quesiton.

Just how long can I let it sit on the bench with cement in it? (again still using Pro Weld).

I got distracted a couple nights ago and it sat for over an hour with no apparent ill effects. If I hadn't checked my bench when I went back to turn out the lights, it could have sat all night or longer. Is that bad??

Blow in the glass end and see if solvent comes out of the needle. I have never had a problem with them.

I've experienced the same "no go" problems as well. I would like to thank you folks for the cleaning tips.

If the needle isn't completely empty, it won't allow the air flow when you try to refill. I keep a paper napkin handy to get the last little bit out before I refill. If that doesn't work, and the tip isn't clogged as the others mentioned, I use a can of compressed air to clear the inside. Make sure the end is pointed away from anything that might be ruined by the cement. I usually have it aimed at a paper napkin.

are you trying to fill it with the needle in the jar, or the other end in the jar? I tried the needle thing and had similar results after the first time, until I actually read the little insert that came with it and realized the big glass end goes in the Ambroids, not the needle... fills like a charm now!

Also make sure you always drag the needle away from the tip with the pen angled, not push it across the model.. and the banging it against the side trick works for me too when I do get a clog...

Sometimes, I have to pick the molten plastic off the tip. It just gets clogged, and the clogs are always external. Most of the time, just knocking the needle around in the solvent against the inside of the Ambroid jar does the trick.

Touch-n-Flow ; No go

Hello all

I am sure this is just opperator error. I just got my Touch-n-Flow and was sold at the first seam. The second seam brought me to just short of love. Then I was out of glue...

I ran the Flow accross my paper underlayment. Then inserted it back into the Solvent jar. Then nothing. I soaked it for a min needle down then ran that glue out. Tried again.

I set it down over night and tried again this evening. Same thing happened again. Worked like a charm the first time, then No Go.

I am using Ambroid Pro Weld. If that makes a difference.

What am I doing wrong??????
