For yarns count I know that English standard is NE
For metric standards in NM

And what 60/1 CM equal in NE (English standard)
Please reply on forum or email me.

If it would concern the thickness of yarn, I'd figure it stands for a fraction of centimeters. It could mean: sixty to get one centimeter, and thus being approx 1.7 milimeters thick (6,5 thou of an inch).
Could this be the something your looking at?
