internethobbies.com is having a Big Sale (Only Six more hours,) just got an notice on my e-mail from them...and that work station is about $60.00 now..
When I looked at it on the screen I thought the work area was also a lid to a compartment to store stuff into also, but its not!...
I also need a lot more room to work than their offering for that much$$....
I bought a large foldable 4"diameter, 090. 3X in a square case, acrylic magnifying glass at Harbor Freight for $6.00 and hooked it up on a scratch built stand, it work's super
I've got $10.00 max in it and 30 minutes labor!..I used the rest of the $ I would have spent on the work station on two other model's I bought from internethobbie.com LOL....

internethobbie.com is IMHO the best online link for buying anything Model's!
But also think www.dixieart.com is my Badger airbrush link for anything Airbrush! Free shipping for anything $45.00 or more!....

Brian, I was looking at picking one up b4 I left Japan and really wish that I had! The lighting in the barracks that I'm in now is hopeless[:0] & with the P.E. that I'm doing that magnifying glass would have come in handy!Approve [^] Guess I'll have to wait till I get back there to get one! Maybe by then Yuzawaya will have 'em on sale!Tongue [:P] - Calvin

I've checked 'em out, but I don't like the restrictive workspace. The magnifying glass with LED illumination is cool, though! If Tamiya was smart, they'd sell that part as a stand-alone item. That, I'd get!
It goes for about $70 USD here in Japan, a bit much for something I don't really need.

This is the first time I've seen this product and I probably won't buy it as I prefer a larger area to work on. (my current working area is a 36 X20 piece of safety glass). However if I were a young person still living at home or a college student, or someone restricted as to area in which they have to work, it makes a lot of sense. Even though it is somewhat pricey. (after 36 years of marriage, I've learned to look at things like that)

Has anyone tried this unit?
Is it worth the price?
