Well, you really don't want to see it. As the plastic was free, I couldn't be choosy about color. (Imagine Joseph's multicolored coat). You can't really paint the interior (wear surfaces, you know). I haven't bothered to paint the outside. The lid is vacuformed as it's really only a dust cover. And as a prototype, there was quite a bit of experimentation involved. Warning! USE SUPERGLUE! Everything else failed for 1 reason or another. I even tried epoxy.
My current project is a vacuform machine that is a bit larger than Mattel's w/electrical vacuum & heating and better controls.
