I have seen a few threads on here about making your own punch and die sets and which ones to buy.
My question is going on the idea of making your own set of punches what sizes would be most usefull in both inch and metric for doing scratch built work?
Listed Below are the two prefered makers and their size range.
Waldron's Precision set
.160, .120, .089, .081, .059, .039
Waldron's Sub-Miniature set
.063, .058, .053, .048, .043, .038, .033, .028, .023, .018
Historex Round Punches
4mm, 3mm, 3/32, 5/64, 1/16, .045, .040, .031, .024
Historex Hexagon Punches
1/16', .050, .035, .028
