Not in the same league but here's a rap for Tamiya sprue cutters too.
Sometimes no trimming required after cutting.

FSS-6 Modeler's Scissor

"You can do more with this scissor than you ever thought possible. Stainless steel blades and extra hardening for durability. Large finger loop design eliminates the need for left and right handed scissors while offering superior comfort. Easily cuts mylar, fabric, styrene, foil, even soft aluminum (#8804;0.005") or brass (#8804;0.016") sheet stock. Manufactured exclusively for Xuron by Clauss Cutlery."

I'd just like to sing the praises of this wonderful tool. Not only have I used these shears for scratch building from styrene or metal PE frets, but the other day, instead of breaking out my grinding tool to cut and clean a hood off of a car I am building in order to fit it with a resin AM kit for the model, I took my Xuron modeling scissors and cut the hood off very cleanly and with great precision until I had the bare minimum of styrene to sand off; Thereby, eliminating not only the noise of my Dremel tool, but also the mess of styrene dust all over my bench.

These shears are a wonderful tool and I'd recommend them to any avid modeler, especially the scratch builder!

Cheers!
Eric
