Small Pneumatic Tools?
Posted by Anonymous on Monday, October 3, 2005 11:52 AM
I'm getting an airbrush setup soon and I was thinking about other uses for the compressor. Are there small tools (perhaps dental type drills) that could work off of a low psi compressor (specifically the 1/10th HP Paasche)?

Curious,

Rick

Very interesting question. I'd like to know this also.

Looking in the yellow pages or on-line for dental supply retailers might be a start.

There are a few small pneumatic handtools out there, cutoff saws, die grinders and even an engraver about the size of a ball point pen. However, the speeds at which most of them operate (15,000 to 30,000 rpm) tends to negate their use with plastics.
