Fifa,

Micro-Mark is having a half off sales on a lot of items that a one would need to get started again. I think some of the prices are very reasonable.

When i got back into it I went down to a local hobby shop, told them what I was interested in doing and they helped me put together a custom kit. I have a couple tools I haven't used yet and I probably payed a tad more than if I had figured out exactly what would be in a good kit in advance. It was a really fun shopping trip though! If you happen to have a well stocked local hobby shop and a little cash to spare, I'd recommend that approach.

Otherwise there are tons of good lists of tools on different people's websites.

Hi everyone, I'm getting back into the hobby after 10 years of being away. I was never more than a novice, but now am looking to make a dedicated commitment to honing these skills and see what kind of results I can produce. .

I need to buy some new tools (files, knives, blades etc..)and am wondering if there is a "kit" that may include a good selection of the basic tools. I am a novice and do not need over buy at this point in time. A collection of simple "beginners" tools would be great. I thought it may be less expensive to go this route than heading to my local hobby shop and buying them individually.

Thanks in advance....
